This book presents the fundamentals of drawing in an easy-to-understand format that is informative to novice artists young and old!

The book's split presentation reads like 2 books in 1. The story line above relates the plot about a special art teacher coming to the bears' school and what he teaches them. The lower portion covers some art history, shows different types of drawing, explains different opinions about art, and even displays the authors, Stan & Jan. A third gem is the cartoon in the corner that "moves" when you flip the pages.

I was blown away by how much was packed into this small book - and my 3-year-old loved it too.

My daughters and I read this book at the doctor's office. I came home and ordered one for home. It is a book all Dads and children need to read over and over again. The lesson deals with Mom's and all the hard work they do that goes unnoticed, until it doesn't get done at all. A must read for all Berenstain Bears fans.

This book is about brother and sister help out an old widdow named Miz McGrizz. Brother and Sister help Miz McGrizz clean out her attic and have some fun lending a helping hand. you should read the book and find out how they got happiness and godnessin their hearts and outside.

My son loved seeing the world around him through his favorite bears eyes. I had to read this one over and over to him!

This book is a great one for the book-loving toddler. The rhythmic sentences and colorful pictures are clasic Berenstain.

As the Berenstain children are going through their nightime routine your child is learning about the cycle of nature (the sun going down and the moon rising), the importance of good hygene(taking baths and brushing teeth), and the closeness of family life (mom and dad reading stories and tucking the kids into bed).

Papa Bear sees a small root sticking up from the ground. He decides it needs to be removed, but that "little stump" turns out to be very large. By the end of the book, Papa Bear has removed a mammoth stump, uprooting the whole neighborhood! A very funny book.

This Berenstain book introduces the issues of bigotry and prejudice very well. Pandas move across the street, and Papa Bear is immediately suspicious and a bit miffed by their arrival. He misunderstands the new bears gestures such as planting bamboo sticks for food, and assumes it is an insulting fence. One really delightful thing about this book is the calm easy accuracy about prejudice. Children will relate to Papa's fears and concerns, but they will also understand how incorrect his feelings are when the children bears befriend each other. It shows how easy it is too make an untrue and unfair assumption about another individual. (Interestingly enough, unlike the Arthur books by Marc Brown, this is one of the very few Berenstain Bear books with different looking animals!) The book really works!

I think the book of "Trouble At School," is really good. It tells kids how school should be more important then anything else in your life. I tells how important grades are to your parents and how important they should be to you. I really liked this book,and I think that little kids should read this book. I really like how Jan and Stan write there books.
